AI therapy is here. What does it mean for you? w/ Dr. Alison Darcy and Brian Chandler
We may think the complexities of the human mind can only be understood by other humans. Yet research on chatbots and psychology suggests non-human bots can actually help improve mental health. Bilawal talks with Dr. Alison Darcy, the founder of mental health app Woebot, and Brian Chandler, an app user, to learn what chatbots reveal about our inner lives and what they can (and can’t) do when it comes to emotional wellness.

How is it that there are only 441 views for this after 11 days? That brings up another problem in this situation. Most people watch someone else's summary or interpretation of statements instead of going to the source. I wanted to hear Helen Toner's words, not someone summarizing her statements and offering their commentary. Too many people are into hype. This was great to hear. I loved the ChatGpt product but it has been obvious from the time they came out onto the public scene that these are not people that can be trusted. Creepy actually. This podcast doesn't present the final verdict on the matter, just the other side of the story. It is good to hear it. It's more evidence of what I can't deny and that is , " this has been going downhill fast since the release of GPT 4o and the recent departures of top researchers and department heads at Openai." Thanks for making this podcast.

I have absolutely no problem calling many things that AI is used for as a tool in art. Where the problem comes from is when there's lying. Not even so much truth... since sometimes there may be interpretation. But when there is outright deceptive lying... then we have a loss of trust. It very much sounds like Claire is very honest (and private, which is ok but can create both a bit of fear of deception but also positive intrigue). Just as long as we're being as honest as possible... by simply not having nefarious deception as intent. That means we, as viewers or consumers of the content (in this case, art) trust that what is presented is told with that good intent.

I had a female platonic friend who is either a sociopath or psychopath run a smear campaign against me behind my back - destroying all my relationships even with my family and closest friends and my new friends- they even set up assaults against me through cyber stalking. The things said about me are disgusting and shocking statements . I still have no idea why they would do that . This same person acts now like she did not do this and was posting the same creepy stuff on her social media page - she would post about how sad she was that her mom died and how much she missed her - 40 years ago- and other sentimental things - but behind the scenes she was spreading false and disgusting rumors about my s*x life - and asking people I know to gaslight me - she did this right after I had been assaulted and was dealing with trauma. She and her friends would be laughing at me online. Covert cyber bullying & stalking while she pretended to be sweet online- even getting her Facebook friends who were news anchors to help to “cancel” me - for nothing. They had to make something up. I’m looking for someone to give me some answers. Maybe M.E. Thomas can - because I know my smear campaigners actually contacted her and asked if she would like to participate in gaslighting and harassment. Maybe she would like to let me know what the real reason is since I can’t find a real reason anywhere.

Hmmm. Adam Grant: I'm not late "if something important is dependent on me." Are you saying that the person you are late for is not that important? Are you assuming they are not depending on you being on time? IMVHO being late is a form of stealing another person's time and/or options for that period of time. They put off and changed other events to be there on time for you. Just because you feel great when someone is late and you use that time on the computer and phone does not mean it is the same for them. Deeply disrespectful.

We should be able to Live; without the Sword of Damocles (the government with their "demands") breathing in the hairs of our necks all the time. Taxes, raising prices, war... We (generously) pay the government to represent our voices. And we work for the government. The government should work for us - but doesn't. They make war$ instead of peace. That's why DEPRESSION and parallelization spreads around.! We're supposed to be free, with a government determining traffic rules. NOT secretly building underground, military facilities in Antarctica, Greenland, Alaska, etc... With our money. To do what ??! Make Eskimo warriors for Venus? Enough ! We are beautiful, and I do not need chips in my body to become something "better." Like in the '80s, prescribe (meth-)amphetamine to the Desperate Housewives: keep 'em going, and they'll lose weight on top. I LOVE YOUR VIDEO AND YOUR APPROACH. My room has to be ✨in three days.
